I am strongly in favor of this idea (even more so than Lauren's original),
count me in.

BTW, I am not saying this out of selfish desire -- although burl is a 
backbone site it only has 2 full news feeds; all our other hungry neighbors
only get area or locally-generated groups -- and I don't think that anything
less than a full feed deserves a vote.
