I don't like this any better than you, and have sent a letter to postmaster@ucb-vax to try to get them to shut the spigot. Maybe (s)he will be able to solve the problem, but I have no response yet. I have two questions: 1> Does anyone out there have a program that runs under Ultrix and that can divert messages from a specified source? I will use this to flush this stuff and allow legitimate submissions from UCB to go through, if I can't get satisfaction from Berkeley. 2> Some of you have asked to be removed from the list. If I can get this connection severed, do you still want to be removed? I suspect that when the new interest-groups.text came out three weeks back, somebody spliced this link thinking they had a new audience for creationist drivel (I apologize in advance to those groupmembers I just offended). We didn't notice for three weeks because of a mailer problem at our site. -dick
