        I am looking for information on travel by private rail car
        in the USA and Canada.  Any info from someone who has traveled
        by private car is welcome; also info from anyone about prices,
        routes, etc.

        My tentative plans are for travel from Massachusetts to Calgary,
        Alberta in February of 1988, returning in March.  I haven't
        decided whether I would prefer to make most of the journey
        in Canada or the USA.

        Right now it's just idle speculation; with more info I can
        make more definite plans.
