Message-ID: <11321@rochester.UUCP> Date: Mon, 2-Sep-85 17:40:45 EDT Article-I.D.: rocheste.11321 Posted: Mon Sep 2 17:40:45 1985 Date-Received: Wed, 4-Sep-85 05:30:47 EDT Distribution: net Organization: U. of Rochester, CS Dept. Lines: 24 I'm looking for information on (current or past) work on vectorizing or parallelizing compilers (especially the latter). My main interest (*) is in projects where the underlying language isn't restricted to very limited domains (say, not just Linear Algebra), but rather attempts to extract parallelism from as General-Purpose a class of programs as can sensibly be asked for. (Multiprocessors preferred to array machines, also). Cesar ("No, not a paralyzer compiler. We already got them.") (*) But, of course, data on other (even remotely) related projects is welcome ================================================================================ Cesar Augusto Quiroz Gonzalez Department of Computer Science {allegra|seismo}!rochester!quiroz University of Rochester or Rochester, NY 14627 quiroz@ROCHESTER -- Cesar Augusto Quiroz Gonzalez Department of Computer Science {allegra|seismo}!rochester!quiroz University of Rochester or Rochester, NY 14627 quiroz@ROCHESTER
