This is an attempt to get in touch with anybody who may be working 
on the problem of Automatic Abstraction .

At Lancaster I am working on a brute force ( ie A linguistic mess )
method of evaluating most significant portions of text by endophoric
references and key indicator phrases.
   I would be most interested to hear of any work being done by others
and of any publications or papers on the subject area that have appeared
since 1975.
