Lines: 9 From: Boebert@MIT-MULTICS.ARPA People wishing to delve deeper in this topic should read Alfred Vagts' classic _Militarism_, in which he differentiates between the military state of mind (exemplified by the Rebels) and the militaristic (*really* exemplified by The Empire). Basically, the first is interested in results and the second is interested in internal power games and pretty uniforms -- but there are many other insights and historical examples in the book.
