I have spent a long time contemplating this issue, especially back when I was in college and thus exposed to myriads of people; and have come to conclude that in some areas, particularly related to feelings about the nature of interpersonal relationships, men and women are fundamentally different. I suspect this is cultural; and I have known women who were more or less exactly like me in terms of their views of things (these I especially liked); but I think that the principle holds in general. -- Shyy-Anzr: J.
