Well, obviously the people I've met are reading this right now, maybe they don't like me talking about them! I will say, though, that I don't claim any substantial "success rate" in terms of long-term "penpals" as a result. Actually I guess that is an advantage of the net.personals approach; usually in personal advertisements, people state basic facts (age, level of education, etc) which get left out of net.singles postings, and all of which have led to former "penpals" of mine drifting away (or suddenly disappearing) after awhile. Nevertheless, real life is that way, too; and I suspect it's also true of personals advertisements. -- Shyy-Anzr: J.
