(I am new to this system, so I'm sorry if I do something wrong in advance)

Just wondering if any of the throngs of people across this world of ours have
any helpful words of wisdom to impart to a (lonely) nice guy who is in his 2nd
year of university in a non-coed residence. I don't expect that The Solution
to how to meet interesting people without going to bars, dances or parties
will be forthcoming, but if one of you happens to know The Answer, and
is keeping it a secret, now's your chance to step forward & be recognised.
Cast your minds back to those halcyon (HAH!) years of University life, and
