Now that a precident is set, I might as well practice what I preech: I am ALSO a white male (wonder of wonders!), 21 years old. Though I work programming these funny machines, they not definitely not my pride and joy. I get most of my enjoyment from music... classical, folk, vintage... anything but loud, opressive rock. Especially like Irish folk (I'm learning several folk instruments) and opera (I'm taking opera lessons presently). I'd like to have a career someplace in the arts someday, probably music, though I like them all (drawing, calligraphy, theater, dance, etc.). I go folk-dancing fairly often, like movies and good books (less SF/FANT, more social commentary), rain, wind, sunshine, and every aspect of nature (I wanted to be a 'naturalist,' before I discovered computers). I'm rather mature and easy to get along with, and like to talk things out. I also have a romantic side; I LOVE relaxed, calm evenings, candlelight, soothing music, stars, moon, trees -- all this, combined with the joy of sharing it with someone special, would be paradise (at least for awhile), though earth is a kind of paradise, wouldn't you agree? - Tim --- "He hated the philosophy of his culture that allowed men like himself to mature without direction, without hope, without love.
