If someone chooses to moderate such a newsgroup or mailing list, it should be noted that the job is NOT just sorting out ads and posting them anonymously. It is also receiving the mail for all the anonymous ads from potential "suitors", sorting them out, and ANONYMOUSLY (without having looked at them????) sending them on to the original posters of the ads. -- Anything's possible, but only a few things actually happen.
