I now have a roommate and like that too. It's nice not to have to make dinner every night by myself, and it's nice to have someone to cook for. I do find that the house is less clean - even though we have twice the ability to clean-up, we also have twice the number of people to generate a mess in the first place. Let's face it - as long as you are independent enough to enjoy some solitude, whether or not to live alone is just a series of tradeoffs.
