Can anyone answer the following questions on Halley's Comet?

1) What is it composed of?
2) How big is it?  It's tail?  What does it weigh?
3) How often does it visit the earth (precisely)?
4) How close does it come to the earth?
5) What does it orbit?
6) How was it created?
7) How hot or cold is it?
8) How bright is it?
 
Any other bits of data you can think of.
