I to must voice my opinion about the MVP in the NL.  I vote for
Guerrero.  As of this morning, the Dodgers have a 9 game lead
over Cincinnati.  Amazing.  The other three divisions all have
good pennant races.  This should be a good September.

PROPOSED: Should pitchers get the MVP?  Batters certainly can not
get the Cy Young.  Doesn't the Cy Young Award symbolize the
"Most Valuable Pitcher" already?

Actually, I think this newsgroup needs a good discussion since
it appears that Carter vs. Pena has been beaten to death.
