Check your dictionary. Smile is "upward curvature of the lips" etc. whereas grin is "drawing back of the lips to show the teeth" etc. (Incidentally I did mention "Is there in truth..." but doubtless my answer was too late to make your tallying of the results since I had been on vacation.) As of item #2 - I can verify that the transporter was not used. The Melkotians zap them straight back tothe bridge instantaneously, so far as we can tell. I believe the answer to New Question 1 is: Naked Time, and Plato's Stepchildren. sb
