We have been getting "machine check 0" on our Ultrix 785 while
dumping our eagles. The crash always happens on the same partitions. 
Of course DEC diagnostics show everything to be fine. When we did 
a newfs on one of the problem partitions, the problem disappeared
from that area. Has anyone heard anything about this?
