DISCLAIMER: this is NOT an official statement of Digital Equipment Corporation. The solution has been found for the problem with MicroVAX II systems running Ultrix-32m, which affected 5% - 8% of such systems. It had nothing to do with Ultrix-32m or with the design of the MicroVAX II, but was associated with a particular component in the MicroVAX II. (And although the problem may have existed for MicroVMS-based systems, it would have been masked -- i.e., kept from affecting users -- by VMS operation.) I'm informed that Ultrix-32m will be taken off hold and begin shipping again some time during the week of 16 September 1985. ---Pete Kaiser%BELKER.DEC@decwrl.arpa {allegra|decvax|ihnp4|ucbvax}!decwrl!dec-rhea!dec-belker!kaiser DEC, 77 Reed Road (HLO2-1/N10), Hudson MA 01749 617-568-5441
