Engineering Computing Center Lines: 21 Under SysV curses, I have noticed the following behavior. When writing text to stdscr with a mvaddch()/refresh() sequence, on each refresh the cursor jumps to the beginning of the line and then back to the location where the character is to go, then adds the character. This doesn't affect the writing to the screen, everything comes out right, but it does add an EXTREMELY annoying flicker. Has anyone else noticed this behavior (it also happens in phantasia, so anybody with that game should have seen it) and if so, can it be eliminated? Thanks in advance, -- Edward C.
