Does anyone in net land have any comments, opinions, experience, etc.
re the Fisher 840 VCR?

This is apparently a relative newcomer: $800 price range (locally), 
4 heads, 14 day/9 event, direct select to all channels, Dolby,
MTS built in, etc., etc. ... 
All the stuff that costs $200 - $300 more on apparently equivalent
Mitsubishi (430?) and Matsushita (e.g. Panasonic 1740).

I had a Fisher amplifier many years ago when they were the tops;
Fisher seems to have spent some years in the doldrums since then.

Any experience that they have or have not recovered?
