Xinu bug list mentions several known bugs in the 4.2bsd implementation of the telnet daemon, telnetd(8). The list mentions problems of losing bytes when confronted with lots of sustained output. Another bug not mentioned in this list is that telnetd loses every 1024'th character no matter what. Does anyone in Netland know what the fixes for these bugs in telnetd are ? Also, does anyone know of other bugs that should be fixed ? All help and advice will be very gratefully received. Many thanks in advance, Cheers, Robert. ****************************************************************************** Robert Ward, Hasler AG, Murtenstrasse 137a, CH-3008 Bern, Switzerland Tel.: (031) - 65 23 19 Uucp: ... decvax!mcvax!cernvax!hslrswi!robert ******************************************************************************
