(My naivety may be showing, but...)

I'm not much of a beer lover (or conneseur, or whatever), but I recently
discovered I liked Killian's Red more than other beers, or at least I
thought I did until I bought one 6-pack.  It was YUCK.

My brother pointed out to me that it was the grocery-store 3.2 version
rather than the stronger liquor store version (aren't liquor laws fun!).

I did a side-by-side on the two, and the difference was significant in
both taste and color.  (Killian's Pink, you say?)

Buy your Killian's at the liquor store (at least in Colorado).
