You made good points; I'll remember them. My error, I believe, was in the direction of my comments. I'll try again. I think what disturbed me about his article was that, although I am /positive/ he never intended it this way, the phrasing of his attitude came out sounding (sorry) condescending. And just a bit as though he saw women as objects, and not simply as other people. I don't think this is his attitude at all. But I just wanted to raise consciousness of the way phrasing can affect interpretation, and possibly injure feelings. This /isn't/ an attack on Tom!
