I was listening to an excellent jazz CD, "Harlequin" by Dave Grusin and Lee Ritenour (all digital recording). I was a little worried by some clicks and rattles that I heard in the speakers on that CD and on a couple of classical CDs. "Uh oh, the speakers have a rattle." Then I listened to a cassette made from the CD and heard the same clicks. Am I hearing errors in the CD, errors in the player's reconstruction, or errors in my head? -- Mojo ...
