The car has a temperature gauge with an LED in the middle. Sometimes for no apparent reason the LED starts flickering at 1 Hz. The temperature gauge is in the middle indicating that the car is not overheating. What is the reason for the light flickering. What condition is it supposed to diagnose and what could it mean. My local dealer is a crook and pocketed a lot of money to tell me that the compression was faulty and the engine was overheating. I think my car is fine as it still gives me 50+ mpg. Also I can drive it at 60 mph on the PA turnpike whihc has some pretty steep hills. I cannot find a copy of the owners manual from any of the local dealers so if anybody can send me a photocopy I would appreciate it ( and also pay for postage copying etc.) Thanks in advance Sesh US Mail address: CMU box 179 Pittsburgh, PA 15213-- uucp: seismo!rochester!cmu-ri-leg!ssm arpa: ssm@cmu-ri-leg Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
