	I would take a good look at the brake calipers first to make sure that
the outboard brake pad isn't rubbing on the rotor. It is easy in that brake
system to cock the caliper to one side and cause it to bind after disassemly.
	As to why this would occur after a transmission repair , there is
a lot of front-end disassembly required to remove a transaxle from these cars.
GM issues the dealers some protective covers for the CV joints , but they don't
often get used. Warranty repairs are paid by a very skimpy flat rate , and
getting that tranny in and out fast is the name of the game!
