According to my unofficial tally (including the votes
listed in Dale Chaudiere's posting), so far there have
been 37 votes in favor of a new group (either net.driving
or net.auto.tech) and 2 opposed to a new group. To me
that sounds like good support for a new group (that's probably
more votes than the total number of readers of some groups
on the net). However, to my system administrator, that
is insufficient suport for him to create a new group.

Maybe somebody else out there in net.auto land could approach
their administrator about creaqting a new group (since the 
criteria for determining what is sufficient support seems 
to be somewhat ambiguous, maybe another administrator would
have different views).

By the way, I have copies of all (I think) articles and mail
I recieved on the subject - if anyone needs it for support, I
can E-mail it.
