Today, when I was driving back from the camping trip, I had an interesting experiance. Here is is: I had taken my canoe with me on the trip. Last night, I had left it upside down near the lake. This morning, I packed up the car, and tied the canoe onto the top. Then I started driving. I drove for a while, and then I noticed that the canoe was a little loose, so I stopped and tied it tighter. I drove on some more. Finally, I came to Highway 5. I was driving down the highway at 100K/H, looking at all kinds of things as well as watching the road. Now, when you're driving a car that has a canoe tied onto the top of it, you always see a bit of the canoe when you look out the front window. This case was no exception, and along with all the other things I was looking at, I was looking at the front of the canoe. Suddenly, I saw two eyes looking at me from under a part of the front of the canoe. Then I noticed that these eyes were attached to a small head, and, likewise, the head was attached to a body. It was a frog that was in the process of waking up. He seemed to be confused as to where he was. He looked like he was ready to jump. I said "Don't jump frog!" Now either he didn't hear me, didn't pay attention to me, or he was a unilingual franco-frog. (This was in Quebec) He jumped. He then hit my windshield, bounced off and hit the highway at a high speed. Jean-Philipe (my son) said "Lets go back and get him." I said "I think he's dead." What could be the moral of this story?
