People who read Pogo in the 1950s know that the proper name for Banff is
"Bamf", named for an unfortunate accident when Howland Owl mistook a football
for a pumpking while giving lessons in his school on "how to pump a
pumpking".  This is also the origin of the aforementioned Killer Bees.
Howland is still running Kamloops all over the place trying to escape them.
