A 'real' female, also being held in the county jail on charges unrelated
to this case, is suing the county, claiming that her civil rights were
violated in that the (incomplete) transsexual was put in the women's
section.

Does the Constitution or state law guarantee gender-segregated facilities
for law-breakers?  What if a person's current gender is questionable?
