Message-ID: <469@decwrl.UUCP> Date: Wed, 18-Sep-85 10:11:23 EDT Article-I.D.: decwrl.469 Posted: Wed Sep 18 10:11:23 1985 Date-Received: Fri, 20-Sep-85 04:22:14 EDT Sender: daemon@decwrl.UUCP Organization: Digital Equipment Corporation Lines: 23 With all the discussion about AMWAY, I was a little surprised to see some people refer to A.L.Williams. A good friend of mine has started to get involved with this insurance company, and I am very concerned about it. It seems not quite "on the level" to me, or at best, something where the people on the top make lots of bucks, but the real hard workers don't really make very much. What concerns me is that she seems to be talking the "party line"...I keep hearing the same answers over and over again. She is bright and usually pretty level headed, so it surprises me that she would be so easily swayed by the kind of pitch they make. She has really been taken by the way they pass out checks at meetings. This in particular makes me very suspicious. Has anyone had any experiences with A.L.Williams, either as an agent or a customer? I would like to hear both positive and negative experiences. Please send mail directly to me, and I'll post a summary in a few weeks.
