Lines: 20 Xref: watmath net.lan:1028 net.dcom:1309 If anybody knows about implementations of the OSI protocol suite that will be available for sale to third parties, please post me. I will post a summary of what I find out. Target environment is UNIX System V, though protocol code that fits in the 4.[23] BSD kernel will also be of interest. Implementation through at least the transport level is needed. Goal is to put this over several nets, so OSI IP and routing support will be needed, but this can wait. Target hardware is proprietary. I've begun to see product announcements with ISO featured, particularly in the MAP area, but know that other vendors are beginning to catch up. In particular, I suspect that there must be several projects underway in Europe, but have no sources there except maybe USENET ... Thanks in advance. -- David Brownell EnMasse Computer Corp ...!{harvard,talcott,genrad}!enmasse!dave Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
