I've just grabbed the gnu emacs support question here by the horns.
Our one support person left for the other coast and I just resubscribed
to net.emacs.

Can anyone suggest the best way to update 15.34.2 to 16.57 (or .58?)
I looked at files in /u2/emacs (on mit-frozbozz) and the diffs all started
way before the 15's. Am I so old that I should start over? (heaven forbid!)
