Let's not start another long lawsuit flame. The $10M cow was quite enough, thank you. This restaurant has a prominent sign displayed outside that says "No neckties allowed!" or something similar, plus some indication of what would happen should you violate this rule. The way I heard the story, you get asked to remove your tie with great formality, then upon refusing you get it hacked off. If someone unintentionally lost a necktie under these circum- stances he's a drooling dolt. His guardian (:-) might try to sue, but I suspect the case would get thrown out amidst much guffaws.
