I agree TV is the most poorly developed communication medium going. Unfortunately the ratings are based on what appears to exceptionally low taste viewing samples. I cannot think of one prime time show that I would watch. If it wasn't for Cinemax/HBO I wouldn't watch at all. Don't get me wrong most of what's on cinemax/hbo is nearly as bad, especially the made for cinemax/HBO productions. Rare exceptions do occur, The Far Pavillions etc. But TV as whole is a total loss. One other exception is the public channels, they carry many good shows, wild world of animals, Nova and some good movies that would never get shown on commercial TV. However TV is the great babysitter, right? Dave Bottom DEC Augusta Maine !dec-rhea!dec-katadn!bottom Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
