I agree, it is time for a change.  Its time for Black to say exactly what he 
thinks.  Does your article mean that it time to let the Klan get away with
murdering people?  Or that it is time to fire-bomb the JDL?

Bigots are bigots.  Whether it is a Jew who hates Moslems, a Christian who
hates Jews, or a white who hates blacks, it is the SAME THING.  People who
are blinded by prejudice and cannot accept the right of others to live as
they want will always be with us.  Yet when we condone violence against other
people (even if we do not agree with their views) we are no better than the
purveyors of that violence.  It is time to condemn these acts as murder,
cold and cruel.  The oldest and most common premise in nearly all religions
is "Thou shalt not kill."  Anyone who violates this, except in the most
extreme cases of immediate survival, has no justification.  Thus we should
condemn the JDL for killing, as we should condemn the neo-Nazis for killing,
and the Moslem extremists for killing, and the Klan for killing.  There are
no excuses.  Anyone who seeks one is merely trying to corrupt the most
basic tenet of human justice.  Thus the recent comment by a U.S. official 
saying that the murder of a Russian diplomat "couldn't happen to a nicer
bunch of people" is as loathsome as the most virulent Nazi statement.  Many 
may now say, "But the Russians are communists!"  I can only respond with
an old quotation:  "Since when do you have to agree with people do defend
them from injustice?"
