First of all it's a combat simulation where you have to save your base from the enemies who want to destroy your base. You have 15 scenarios (ranging from training mission to massive onslaught) and 5 skill levels ( from cadet to Ace of the Base ). The animation on the machine is fantastic and very, very fast. The colors are great, the sound track is good ( you have music in the beginning and after that sound effects ) . You start by choosing a scenario and a level, and you are on your way. The first 7 scenarios are training ones and the other ones are actual attacks. The game has the following features: Auto pilot to the enemies Help with your fight Radar view View from above View forward Guided missiles Heat seeking missiles You can go up to 3000 MPH which is very, very fast. An example: as cadet on the tank training 1 ( lowest level ) you go up to 200 MPH and it's very fast Tanks will shoot you from below and planes from above, but you will only fight one of the two because the tanks are on the ground ( of course ) and the planes fly between 30 000 and 40 000 feet in the air . So you have to use your afterburners to get you up there. You have five skyfoxes ( lives ) but you can abort the game at any time. Your onboard computer is really nice but hard to use in the beginning, ( I've only had it for 1 day ) but is really helpful. All in all the graphic are excellent and reasonably priced: $39,95 CDN for the commodore 64 version, I think the apple version is the same. which is a very good price. I highly recommend it to all gamers because even though I don't really like arcade games, I love this one. Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
