For help in starting an investment club try contacting:

National Association of Investment Clubs
1515 East Eleven Mile Road
Royal Oak, Mich. 48067

They have lots of advice, newsletters, insurance, etc. for people 
looking to start a club.  They aren't particularly expensive either (my 
opinion).
