A position is available in robotic systems software at Hewlett-
Packard's Corporate Research Laboratories in Palo Alto, CA.  This
position provides an opportunity for contributing to the creation
of robotic workcells that perform a wide variety of functions in
electronics assembly.  These workcells will contain versatile
manipulators, multiple sensors, and sophisticated software.  These
workcells will be used in HP's manufacturing sites.

Position Requirements:  BSCS/EE minimum, MSCS/EE preferred.  Very
good academic performance and communication skills preferred.  
Software design, implementation, testing, and documentation skills
needed.  Thorough knowledge of UNIX (tm) and C preferred.  Additional
useful experience:  software for machine control, software with multiple
authors, user interfaces, databases, computer vision, and datacomm.
