Help!  My wife's boss told her Monday that her job will be eliminated by the
end of the month.  (We just bought a new house, too!)  She's a graphics 
designer with a heavy background in the computer industry, doing 
documentation, manuals, vue-graphs, etc.  She is looking for work in 
central New Jersey (Monmouth, Middlesex, Mercer, Burlington counties)

Experience:

	Wide exposure to industrial graphics, with emphasis on the computer 
industry (4 years).  Responsible for developing layout and graphic approach
for technical manuals, computer documentation (both hardware and software),
brochures, presentations and overlays, jeans pocket designs and sales tag
graphics.  Prepare masters for printing.  Work independently, or as part of
a team.

	Required to meet with customers to determin customer's needs and
schedules.  Advise customers of various concepts and graphi approaches.  
Deliver finished product to customer.  Monitor text preparation and supervise 
documentation layout in accordance with appropriate MIL-SPEC or other
standards.  Supervise and coordinate graphics and printing of various projects
performed either in-house or at supporting graphics shop.  Write 
specifications and review bids from both graphics shops and freelance artists.
Supervise secretarial staff and word processing specialists.  Established and 
managed graphics department for most recent employer.

Skills

	Printing production, type specifications, 4 color production, camera
work, freehand pen and ink, Compugraph, Diazo, silkscreen, ITEK, Apple 
Macintosh and TI Professional computers.  Knowledge of photography, sign
machines, automated embroidery and audio production.
