Message-ID: <299@ncr-sd.UUCP> Date: Thu, 26-Sep-85 20:48:55 EDT Article-I.D.: ncr-sd.299 Posted: Thu Sep 26 20:48:55 1985 Date-Received: Fri, 4-Oct-85 05:14:21 EDT Distribution: net Organization: NCR Corporation, Torrey Pines Lines: 20 I was reminded of a little thing Stephanie, our oldest child (~2 3/4), did last night that, I thought some other parents might appreciate and enjoy some. Last night was one of those nights where the evening routine was anything but routine. During the third time of putting Stephanie into bed, I gave her yet another smallish amount of milk, but in a large (big person's type) glass. The other times had been with her smaller glasses. Then I was getting pretty annoyed and almost out of patience, when after a couple swallows, she offered me the glass, because she felt we were sharing the "big person's glass". Those kids sure hit you the hardest when you're in an increasingly bad mood. That was a real boost of morale. I wonder how many other cute things I have missed being to grumpy to notice them. Sigh. Feel free to share any other happy experiences you have had with your kids. We all need reminders from time to time about just how special kids are.
