I got my Masters in CS at the University of KY at which I had (and still have) an account. When I came to work for AT&T, I discovered USENET. The discussions in net.med made me think of him, so I suggested he buy a modem for his Macintosh and use my old account to join the discussion. It has been a lot of fun for him, and I'm proud to see him finally getting involved with computers. I have to throw in my 2 cents regarding "net.med.holistic". As Walt adjusts to "netiquette" and the high intelligence of this audience, I think you will see less public flaming and accusations, and more facts presented with evidence worthy of discussion. My somewhat biased opinion is for people interested in new breakthroughs (and important "rediscoveries") to wait a few months more before giving him his own newsgroup or unsubscribing to him.
