Stated quite simply: If you could purchase a 32016 or 32032 based co-processor board with which to run UNIX on your PC, would you rather have System V or BSD4.2??? This board is not vaporware! It is currently being sold be a California company name OPUS (no relation to the penguin), can be clocked from 6-10MHz, 2-4Mbyte of RAM, MMU, FPU (standard), and runs SVR2 with demand paged virtual memory. Myself and others (not necessarily Texas Instruments) have been very impressed with this product but we'd like to convince OPUS to do a BSD4.2 port. OPUS obviously needs some justification before doing this. I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd take a minute of your time to send me a short >>E-MAIL<< message indicating a 4.2 or SVR2 preference. Thanks a bunch. In case there is any real interest I can post a summary. ================================================================ _____ |\/ o \ o -Rusty- | ( -< O o |/\__V__/ ARPA: Haddock%TI-CSL.csnet@CSNet-Relay.arpa or Rusty@Maryland CSNet: Haddock@TI-CSL USENET: {ut-sally, convex!smu, texsun, rice} ! waltz ! haddock Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
