Texas CS Dept., Austin, Texas Lines: 34 Actually, I should have called this the Movie Aptitude Test, since its questions take the form of those "comparison" questions in the SAT. I think that many movie enthusiasts who keep up with what's what should be able to figure out the first part, but only the hard-core (and eclectic) movie fiend will be able to get the second. Please e-mail solutions to the address below. If I don't get much response (or, as Reiher would put it, if nobody pays any attention) I'll post a strong hint next week. I'll post (my) solutions and a list of winners in a couple of weeks. Kelvin Thompson's Movie Fun Quiz: I. _Lenny_ is to _????_??_ as _The_China_Syndrome_ is to _????????_. II. _The_China_Syndrome_ is to _????????_ as _Quadrophenia_ is to _????????_?????_. BONUS. Add other pairs of movies to the lists above. Scoring is arbitrary and capricious. Partial credit may be awarded for incorrect answers if work is shown. Cryptically, Kelvin Thompson kelvin@sally.UTEXAS.EDU {ihnp4,siesmo,ctvax}!sally!kelvin [Oh by the way, I really appreciate all the nice letters I've been getting since I announced my retirement.] Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
