They were talking with some fellow about Hall- ey's comet, and during a break between segments, they played a song they felt was somewhat appropriate to the discussion, something called "Starrider." My wife really liked the song, but we weren't able to get through to the station to ask who did it, so that's why I'm here, taking up valuable disk space, com- puter machine cycles, and the precious time of people, all over the net. The only information that I can give about the song is that it talked about something like jumping onto a comet or star, and going for a ride. The only lyric line I remember went, "Starrider (then voices in chorus, ascending the scale in an "echo" of the first word: rider, rider, rider) - take me where you are..." This was, I think, the chorus of the song, and was followed by a similar line, ending in something that rhymed with "are", probably "star." If you have any idea who did this song, I'd very much appreciate the information. The band sounded familiar to both my wife and I, but we couldn't place it. Why clog the newsgroup? Send any answers to me personally, please. Any ideas at all, any groups that did a song called "Starrider" - let me know. Thank you all very much. ----- Shawn Harrington UUCP: {decvax|ihnp4|allegra|ucbvax|...}!decwrl!dec-rhea!dec-neptun!harrington or UUCP: {decvax|ihnp4|allegra|ucbvax|...}!decwrl!dec-rhea!dec-apollo!harrington Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
