So: This is the survey of FAVORITE SONGS New rules: 1) you don't have to put them in any order 2) you can include up to 25 songs 3) all lists must be received by Oct 30th, 1985. I'll post the results as soon afterwards as I can. 4) you can choose songs from any category of popular music that you wish (jazz, rock, pop, folk, whatever) 5) the songs don't have to come from any format (so, if you're favourite song only appears on a bootleg or a video tape, that's okay), but I'd prefer if you'd mention where the song comes from if it's not from a normal album or single 6) all listings must be in the following format: artist - song title - (optional other data, such as source of song) Single perfomers should be listed last name first, groups should not have a The included. Examples: Smith, Patti - Piss Factory - from The NY Singles Scene (ROIR Tape) Band - Don't Do It Dylan, Bob and the Band - Quinn the Eskimo - from bootleg (GWW) Any listings not in the above format will be ignored 7) Since I'll probably end up with over a thousand songs, you might want to attempt some sort of suggestion as to how I can post the results. (should I only post songs with more than one vote? Should I post everything? Should I only post the things that I think are interesting?) I hope that this survey goes as well as the last one. (Perhaps I won't think that the last one went well when comments/flames start coming in). -- Sam Rebelsky UUCP : ..!ihnp4!gargoyle!sphinx!r032 or ..!ihnp4!gargoyle!samr ARPA : x9.xsr%uchicago.mailnet@mit-multics.arpa BITNET: r032%sphinx@Uchicago.bitnet Random Thought: Why has there never been a legal live Springsteen album?
