At the end of the video they show Willie and Merle sitting around what looks like a cafe singing and strumming. The skinny fellow strumming the guitar and singing along is Townes Van Zandt the original author of the song. I think he also plays one of the Federales in the video. I am glad to see that Willie remembered where the song came from and got Townes in on the action. Now if only Townes would do a video of "My Mother, the Mountain."
