Americans are usually at least a year behind what's going on elsewhere in the world. It takes time for American marketing analysts to figure out how to push a product, develop tie-ins, promote the sucker in a way that's "acceptable" to the American market. Only then will the sheep who make up most of the American audience pay attention. -- Anything's possible, but only a few things actually happen.
