My data base class was rather boring today so I spent a little
time (an hour maybe) thinking about K-news.

I have one question ... 

How are we supposed to keep up the arpa
gateways if we throw away the newsgroups?

Otherwise it looks as if it'll help a lot in specifying an audience
for your postings and specifying what you want to read.  That is,
it'll help if people actually go and use it properly.
