Prosyletizing is not limited to moslems. Christianity also vigorously
encourages converting non-christians to christians. I have been approached
several times by mormons and other christians, who had wanted to preach
their message to me. On all occasions it has taken more than a polite NO to
get rid of these people. 

In fact Hinduism (& its other derivatives like Buddhism, Jainism  & Sikhism)
is the only religion that i know which NEVER EVER converts anyone. It is a
collection of beliefs evolved over a period of 5000 years. In India (where
most of the Hindu's live) one does not hear of a debate of whether to have
prayers in schools or not. It is left to the individual to pray (or not to
pray) at his home.
