Howdy...

I'm going to San Diego this December and am wondering if anyone know's
how the diving is that time of year?  I'll be snorkeling so any
information on good places to go, water temperature, and dangerous
beasts a Minnesota'n may not know about(!) would be very helpful.
Maybe a good place to rent a wet suit, if I need one?  I have a
cousin who recommends Carlsbad, Del Mar, La Costa, and San Elijo
as possible places to go.  Thanks for any comments you may have about
these or other places, I haven't been there since I was a kid..
